It may be Spring Training, but Mark Prior didn't get the memo. Prior went out and no-hit the Bristol spring squad, allowing just 2 walks. "I couldn't pull him," stated Cal Ripken Jr., "the guy was just on fire. Ideally, he would have thrown about 6 innings, but once he had the no-no, I wasn't about to take him out." Prior threw a total of 111 pitches, 69 for strikes. Helping out the cause was Kenny Lofton, who had 5 hits and Coco Crisp who had 4 hits. "We all know the kid can pitch," said Ted Williams who went 0-3, "today he went out and proved it once again." The Christians won 14-0.

maybe if his team didn't pitch him a complete game in the spring, he would be spared of all the injuries!
What was that, Mr. Anonymous? We can't hear you; your microphone must not be on. That, or we can't hear you hiding behind the tree!
